A friend of mine asked me this question and I will like to know if anybody knows how to fix it. I think is pretty simple....

" Ok this system with 2008 works well, but I am having one issue. The wireless works with ndiswrapper but it wont work with the fwcutter way so when I boot I have to reconfigure the wireless to use ndis every time. Do you have any idea how I would be able to get it to come up by default every time Any suggestions great appreciated.

Thanks...

One thing that comes to mind is: There is a sevice that tries to configure hardware at boot I think its called hardrake - it might be an issue. Not shure if it would do it to the ndiswrapper. It kept trying to configure my xorg making it kdm unable to load. I turned it off.

Also -

If there is a set of commands that he uses to start it up my only thought is to put it in the /etc/rc.local file. That way it runs when the system starts up.

I'm not running any start up script that I know of. So what is the rc local thing? I would be happy to try it. Any info would be great.
Thanks Dallas
