Full Version: BBCi Petition for UK citizens

Hi,
A petition is on the website of number 10, you can sign it if you are a uk resident. It is about the fact that the BBC is trialling tv on demand with a windows only (vista only as well I think) software.

Please sign if you agree it should be open. Personally I pay my taxes and I feel I should have access to this public money funded channel with the means of my choice.

Signed it a while back, although I am a bit skeptical of how effective it will be though.

Aye, but you never know if you don't sign it biggrin.gif

Have to see I suppose, but I expect the response will be the same - we'll have support for other platforms within two years. Should be quicker though if not immediate for the release. And if they stick to the timescale they've already decided, not a lot we can do unless it gets blocked against anti-competition with the EU.
