I have added 7 language packs for our non native English speakers. You can select one by looking at the bottom of the page on the left hand side. I am working with someone to create a mod that will allow people to register in their own language. I noticed in the Admin Control Panel that some people are already using them. I hope you find them useful. If there is a specific language that anyone wants let me know and I will see if I can find it.

Thanks

Thank you but the Hungarian translation is using the old 8859-2 encoding. Could you change it to utf-8 please?
Thank you. And you for making this place even more convenient.
mystified
Ok, I think that should do it. If you have any other problems let me know and I will try to fix it.
dexter11
Everything looks alright now. Thank you.

I was wrong. Something's still not right. On the main page the Hungarian for comment, Site navigation, Online users etc are still using the old encoding.
I've made a picture but I can't find a way to attach it. It used to be obvious. How can I do that now?
mystified
It was a setting in the admin control panel. You can attach files now. But in the meantime I'm going to go through each file and check the encoding.

Thank you. You can see on the pic what I mean. I marked (some of) them with red frame. Instead of the commas there should be Hungarian characters. Click to view attachment

edit Can you see it? I get the message when I click on the link that I have no permission to see it.
mystified
Ok, I changed the permissions so now it works. This is an admin forum so it has a lot of restrictions. I looked at it in both Opera and Firefox and it looks fine. Here's my screenie.

It seems like it's OK to me. Thank you.

Hi! Could you please add Serbian language. I found a pack here:
http://mods.invisionize.com/db/index.php/f/5670

It needs to be modified, as it doesn't contain Serbian language's caracters, (I could do that). Or, maybe to try finding newer version (this one is for IPB v2.0).
Cheers!

I searched and couldn't find a later package. But that one only contains the xml file. As old as that xml file is it wouldn't work with this version of the board but I can install languages by basing them off of the engligh pack. But I need these files in order for it to work. http://mods.invisionize.com/db/index.php/f/4982

I was registered on that forum, but looks like they delete my account. I registered again, and here's the file:
http://89.111.201.11/Downloads/jezik.zip
The link is valid for next couple of minutes (until I shut down my computer, 'cause I'm going to sleep smile.gif ).

Ok, I got them. It won't take too long to set it up.

Edit Unfortunately I cannot unzip them. I get an error message. But they seem to be the same as the other file I downloaded so I'll see what I can do.

Edit again: I installed it from the files I had. I hope that works for you.
Demon
It works!

The translation isn't that good, but it's ok. Thanks!

Glad to help!

Actually I don't need translation, I speak , read and write English just fine, but it is nice to see something in your language. smile.gif So I'll use it!

However, it seems that this language pack miss parts of the translation:

I can help you about this.
mystified
Ok, I added it. Now if you can translate it for me I'll change it. I also noticed that some things are missing in My Controls. You can see the ones on the left. Friends and Personal Portal Information. I also need Recently Read Topics, Registered On, Messenger, Your Account Summary, Note Pad, Posts, and Post Average. That's all I can find in the pages for now but I'll keep looking for other things that need to be translated.
