Hi,

I'm trying to install VMware server 1.0.3 on my Mandriva Powerpack+ 2007 system.

When I enable iptables (and shorewall) together with VMware and bridge mode, I get a kernel panic.
So far, I haven't found a solution. Anyone know a solution?

After kernel upgrade to 2.6.17-13mdv the problem remains on both servers.
When I install the same system on a laptop for testing purpose, I get no kernel
panics.

Fixed after installing VMware with the any-any patch.

Well, you never know someone 's having the same issue.
This is my first real problem with Mandriva. And I'm using it for years now.
