Full Version: make the Mandriva button smaller? [solved]

I installed Spring 2007 and the menu button has the star and the word Mandriva next to it, eating a lot of real estate (my flat panel is only 1024x768)

Is there a way to reduce it to a less space hogging star like in previous versions? so far this setting has eluded me.

Rightclick onto kicker, and "configure panel..." should be enough- loads of settings to toy with.

I tried that, I can't find the relevant setting

huh? open ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc and copy

[KMenu]
KMenuButtonScale=false
KMenuIcon=kmenu

into the file and restart kde, like the release note says...

oops sorry I meant to answer scarecrow's post, not yours, which I somehow missed.
I'll try that.
Thanks!
