busted
Have installed Mandriva Spring onto my spare computer and all went well. I have been trying to get online via Netgear "DG834G" 54Mbps Wireless ADSL2 + Router. But have failed at every attempt.

I have opened a terminal, konsole and typed: ifconfig, and this was the reply:

ifconfig
bash: ifconfig: command not found
[Colin@Tiscali ~]$

When i open a terminal, konsole there is one item listed: [Colin@Tiscali ~]$
Could this be the reason why i can't get online? Because i entered my name "Colin" instead of my Tiscali username and password?
If so can i un-install Mandriva Spring or can i just re-install Mandriva Spring to over write the previous installation?
Thanks for any and all help

Welcome to MUB biggrin.gif

You are a user you need to login as root with su first, I don't have wireless but did you already try from the mandriva control center to configure it? (type mcc in a console to go to the control center...)

edit: you can also start the configuration program in a console as root with drakroam
