Am trying to install a program called pyscrabble but it exists only from source and I m no expert for that.
Does anyone know a nice scrabble game under linux (and please not the one runnong in the shell...)

I think pyscrabble is online multiplayer only? Is that what you want?

There's the game xscrabble, it's fairly simple to build. You need xscrabble and xscrabble_en (or xscrabble_fr) to make it work:
