ive just installed soldier of fortune, official linux version but when i open it through the shortcut placed on installation nothing happens?
so i tried to open it through konsole and heres what i get

makes me think you haven't got accelerated 3D drivers installed.

I could be wrong... unsure.gif

check to see if you do have direct rendering enable, do this command in a terminal:
CODE
glxinfo | grep direct
and give us the output.

Well, looks like you aren't set up to do 3d rendering. What kind of video card do you have?
