Ok.. normally I don't like to post ads, but this seems to be such a great deal for a great linux game. There is this 3 day sales event at microcenter.com. Here's the full ad

It's 2 bux for a linux game (although the shipping is 6 bux), but if you have a microcenter near you, you can pick it up for the price of gas and tax (shouldn't be more than 20 cents for tax anyway).

Now.. if only I have a friend who can take me to Santa Clara Microcenter.. waitaminute.. I do (just have to wait until Wednesday since I have school on Tuesday).

I have both of these games and after install I get a seg fault I even d/l the latest installer from loki. anyone have success with this?

both work fine for me. do you have the latest SDL installed and NVidia/ATI/DRI or whatever drivers installed?

I'm not in the USA, but Heretic 2 is sold out there. The only Loki game they have left at the moment is Myth 2.

I'm having the same problem with Myth 2 segfaulting. Are you running 9.1 DOlson? It's probably a glic problem...urg.

I'm using the latest nvidia driver, and the SDL libs that came with 9.1.

Nope. I run Debian. But my wife runs Mandrake 9.1, and I'm pretty sure that the game runs on her system. I'll try to remember to check it when I get some more time.
