Looks neat - anyone know how to install it?
tyme
hm...what version of mandrake are you running?
fearby
Mandrake 10 official
tyme
at this point there are no RPM's for Mandrake 10 Official, as at the time of the version freeze for OE gnome 2.6 hadn't been released. There are RPMs for Mandrake 10.0 Community Edition, but Mandrake warns against using CE rpm's on OE.

At this point, you're looking at building it from source. You'd have to build and install gtk 2.4 along with gnome 2.6, and any other dependencies of gnome 2.6. Unless you can hunt down some RPMs somewhere, but I haven't seen any.

I am, however, considering building RPMs of gnome 2.6 for Mandrake 10.0 Official Edition - but this may take a while.

it is in community edition, has been for a while (assuming my memory is as good as i think it is). it's not in official edition, as official had the version freeze prior to the 2.6 release.

If you are crazy enough to compile there is always GARNOME which would make it a bit better
