I just recently istalled Mandrake 10.0 and am reletively new to linux. I have compaq 2195us laptop and a orinoco pcmcia wireless card. mandrake recognizes my card and tells me i'm getting good signal strength. But it won't connect to my wireless access point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you have a WEP key setup?

try adding the kwifi from add/remove progs....
(it might be plf or contribs) which meansyou need to know how to set up URMPI sources....
(see FAQ or [post back if this is the case)
