Ok...I've downloaded the mandrake 9.2 ISOs. I burned them on to some CD-Rs and I was on my way. I got to the first screen and pressed enter...it did somethings and after a while it when to a black screen with 'in second phase of install' or something like that...and it just stayed there for a really long time. Then it gave me this Signal 7 error and told me that its safe to restart my computer...can somebody please help me???

md5sum check out OK? Could you give some hardware details? Is your media OK? Did you turn off plug and play in the bios?

Sounds like a buggy download or burn.

remember to burn as slow as possible. And to run the Md5sums on each ISO.
