Been playing Tux Racer (the one that comes with the Downloadable ISO's). Anyway, browsing the web I saw screens of a commerncial version of Tux Racer and they look great. Is the commercial version a worthwhile purchase? Does it have more substance or just better graphics?

I'd like to know as well. I've seen it at Fry's and it seems a lot more interesting. Many more and cooler courses and a 2 player mode and is on'y $25.00 US. I just haven't had the extra money yet.

Well, my motto is.. if you like it and you can afford it, buy it. I mean, you already play the "demo" version of tuxracer and you like it, the paid version should be more of the same, even better perhaps.
Me, I just cannot handle action games anymore.. I just cannot handle tuxracer that well.. all those years of touch typing is getting to me. :(

Oh, and I believe it had sled/snowboard type laydown type thing, and you can choose different tux-characters.

There's a Polar Bear character that rides a innertube.
