The time has come for a makeover.
We are acutely aware that there are some spectacular designers that visits our website; we are taking submissions for original logo work.
This has been done before so I will replicate the rules from 2006:
1. It has to abide by board guidelines.
2. It cannot be more than 100px in height.
3. it must be in an industry standard format, with all layers visible (xcf, svg, png, psd, et al).
4. Must work with the colours of the default skin.
For showing your designs, it might be enough to submit a .jpg file for now. However, keep the source files on your hard disk or an extra cd or somewhere else backed up, as we will ask you for the sources once the competition is finished.
There will be a time frame on submissions that has yet to be discussed, but I imagine two weeks from now submissions will close.
This is your opportunity ... have fun :)/>
Paul.

Great job on the new site guys, to all involved. I've been busy so haven't been in much, or added any input.
:oops:/> After all it is a community...
The old site was very formal and ridged, this is more playful. Thats IMHO.
Only thing, has MUB done away with the "view new posts" link? I used to log in to the main page, see new portal news then 'view new posts'. That way I was always upto date.
Once again, nice job to all involved :thumbs:/>
