Does anyone know if it is safe to delete any of these modules to save some precious ram.
Can I delete the one`s with a "Used by" 0 as seen below?
thanks very much

Simply blacklist the ones you don't need...
Recompliling your kernel with all modules you don't need left out is certainly doable, but not exactly trivial to achieve, especially on USB installation (where it's rather certain that the devel packages are missing).

thanks scarecrow, but recompiling kernel is a bit too advanced for me.
I`v tried

modprobe.conf

blacklist ntfs
blacklist reiserfs
blacklist tsdev
blacklist vboxdrv
blacklist l2cap
blacklist bluetooth
blacklist rfcomm
blacklist audio
blacklist snd-usb-audio

not sure if this is correct tho.
