I'm a total technonumptie but I have made a few step by step guides with screen shots. Starting with installing Mandriva Free Spring 2008 64 Bit and then some other guides for installing and configuring software. Maybe some folk will find them useful.

You can make screenshots in the installer by pressing one of the F keys. No need to use your camera.
Such tutorials are better put in the Mandriva wiki. Sooner or later they will be forgotten in a forum.
