Has anybody gotten the symbols for integration and summation to work right in MathType using wine? It seems to work ok except for some symbols. Is there some font that can be added?

I don't use Math Type, but the easiest way I've found to get fonts "working right" under wine is to install the msfonts. The best way, if you have access to a windows system is to use drakfont, or there are third party rpm's available (which provide some of the msfonts). Search here for msfonts or mscorefonts:

A reply from a happy LaTeX user :D/> Did you try using Jex and OOo? Just curious...

Jex isn't the only option... Latex (which is, hands down, the BEST editor for such tasks), has a gazillion of different UI's - say kile, amyedit, or whatever you freakin' please...
