You need wine(free) or Cedega(pay $5 each month) for that.

Make sure you have the latest wine: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.p...ackage_id=80066

You might want to read more about wine: http://gaming.gwos.org/doku.php/wine:winestuff

Then run winecfg via konsole/terminal to set up stuff. You could also give winedoors a spin.

Cedega: http://www.transgaming.com/

I have run WoW (2 accounts at the same time on multiple monitors, no less) for about a year on Linux using regular Wine (not Cedega) and I can confirm that it is rock solid, and a noticeable performance increase over Vista.

I even got Ventrilo working perfectly last night, and the PTT key works when WoW has focus.

There are a few reasons for that (don't get me started on Vista!), but one thing is that in Linux - no matter what you use - you don't get a lot of the extra graphics stuff (shaders, basically). At least, the last time I set it up I couldn't turn on some of the eye candy. That helps improve performance a good bit. Edited by tyme

I know, and I also have some choice things to say about Vista, but the computer I bought won't install XP, even a Slipstreamed SP3, due to the sata drivers on the mobo (I assume, anyway).

Graphically, I really don't notice that much of a difference. I'm not sure what all is included in the extras for eye candy, I do know that I have most of the sliders all the way up on both accounts. I will check, though, and report back my findings.
