Guest carl
This is the second time I've had this problem installing from an rpm. I downloaded Apollon and the only plugin it came with was openFT, so I downloaded the gnutella and fasttrack plugin rpm's, when I tried to install them I got a message saying that they couldn't be installed due to unsatisfied libgift, requiring greater than or equal to libgift 0.11.4. I currently have libgift 0.11.7 installed. Is there any way to modify an rpm so that it will find the proper packages or force it to install? Reiver_Fluffi
if you want to ignore the dependencies use rpm -i --nodeps PACKAGE_FILE or you could force the installation using this method rpm -i --force PACKAGE_FILE
Guest carl
Allright, that worked perfectly, thanks! I rarely install rpm packages from the command line, I save that for compiling and installing from tarballs, after doing a few of those it's nice to just point and click have it installed for you.
