Help loading modules with modprobe

How do I get a module to permanently load?

Specifically I am using the "modprobe cx88-dvb" command to load the cx88-dvb module.
But after any PC restart that module is not loaded and I have to run the modprobe command again.

How do I get it to either permanently load or load automatically on start-up?

Add it by hand at /etc/modprobe.preload
