Many of you Cedega users will notice that most games wont play in full screen mode while you have 3D Desktop/Compiz/XGL/Beryl loaded.
Googling around there`s plenty suggestions on how to solve this problem by loading a second instance of X display, some say that a future Kernel update will solve this problem too.

A great workaround is to use Beryl, and Beryl manager instead of Compiz.

Beryl manager gives you a small tray icon with easy access to switch between full 3D/composite desktop manager and Kwin (Kde windows manager) without you having to logout or restart x server.

So, you simply switch from Beryl to Kwin, load you game, play and when finished simply switch back to Beryl.

Here`s a video to show how easy it is.

Hope this helps someone,

Note that beryl and compiz are re-merging and will soon both be the same project again.

Also note that in GNOME you will want to switch to Metacity instead of Kwin.
