tyme
Caldera OpenLinux, then. it was the first one i was able to get installed. tried some distro-on-a-floppy a while ago when i didn't have my own PC but it only presented a command line and I had no idea what to do with it! Also tried some version of Red Hat (5 or 6) but it was troublesome.

solarian
First was Mandrake 9.1, but first love was with Mandrake 10.0 CE, then I switched to Linux. It seems I'm quite a newcomer among others here. :) Edited April 3, 2006 by solarian
bvc
mandrake 8.1 because 7.2 wouldn't fly with my soundcard and modem
mystified
Mandrake 8.1. I had no idea about how to get started with linux so I went to Best Buy and bought the cheapest linux distro there was on the shelf. It turned out to be the right one. dexter11
Debian Potato was the first one I installed but couldn't do anything with it, so I'd say the first love was Mandrake 7.2.
