aioshin Posted October 5, 2005 Report Share Posted October 5, 2005 make sure that the umask is equal to 0.. see below... so try to edit your fstab as root #vi /etc/fstab or you can also do it via mcc - mountpoint - partition, then click the toggle expert mode ? then options.. there you can change that option /dev/hda1 /mnt/fatdrive vfat umask=0,codepage=850,iocharset=iso8859-1 0 0 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm using Mandriva Discovery/LX 2006, I just tried this fix on two of my computers, you just have to reboot the computer before it works.
