I have samba installed and working, i can access the shares in my windowsXP PRO server and see the printer shares.

i installed my printer with cups http://localhost:631 and when asked Device i choose windows printer via SAMBA and then i write URI: smb://user:pass@workgroup/server/sharename (ofcourse i write my own user, pass etc. settings instead of these)

then i choose manufacturer model etc....

It won't print anything though. Somethimes Printer state shows:

"Unable to connect to SAMBA host, will retry in 60 seconds...ERROR: SMB tree connect failed: NT_STATUS_ACCESS_DENIED"

sometimes it says: processing, accepting jobs.

"Printing page 1, 5%"

(there is a testpage in queue)

Need to change something in smb.conf?

could i be writing something wrong in URI (lowercase uppercase)?

Ideas?
