MrWhisp
Hello, I've updated from 10.0 to 10.1 without problem. The problem is when I login to KDE. KDE 3.2 is still running (I've used installation CD 4 in the update). Why doesn't KDE 3.3 start? Can I set 3.3 to start? /MrWhisp
adamw
The KDE 3.3 on CD4 is not installed by default. It's not supported and it doesn't work perfectly. If you still want to use it, you'll have to install it manually by finding the directory on the CD that contains it and setting it up as an urpmi media. Hope this helps. MrWhisp
Thanks for the tip! If it doesn't work perfectly, I dare not install it... Better wait until it is supported. /MrWhisp
adamw
Probably a wise decision! :). Mandrake 10.2 will have KDE 3.3, though by the time 10.2 Official is released, KDE 3.4 will most probably be out. Seems Mandrake has fallen into an unfortunate release cycle trap :\
