Guest Flavor
I'm not quite sure how to get mandrake to detect my sound card. It is a Sound Blaster AWE 64 ISA card. Running harddrake doesn't detect the card. I'm really not sure what else to try.
Ixthusdan
Does it show up correctly in the bios? Is plug N gun off?
devries
This is a known problem with Mandrake. I think you will be better of with sndconfig or alsa-conf with an ISA card (these are the Redhat and ALSA soundcard config tools). If sndconfig isn't installed do 'urpmi sndconfig'. Good luck.
