Timeframe File Types

I understand that by default Timeframe only supports certain file types. In particular it only shows .doc and .docx documents (or pdf but nobody creates documents in that format). This is strange given that this is a Linux distro and those are Msoft filetypes. I create my documents in Abiword so can anyone please tell me how to add .abw as a supported file type in Timeframe?

This is a very interesting distribution btw and Timeframe is the most interesting thing about it. I would be very pleased to use Mandriva again (I used it years ago pretty well exclusively) but if it doesn't support native Linux document formats I don't see the point in carrying on.
