Guest goregrinder
High, i wanna charge the battery of my hercules eCafé EC-900-H120G/V Netbook. I think, maybe acpi is important therefore. If i look at the battery symbol in desktop, i can look at 2 prompts, Energie and Autonomie. Is there a mini program for charging. Or can i use a terminal of Mandriva 2009? K Bergen
Welcome to the forum goregrinder. You shouldn't have to do anything as battery charging is usually handled by the hardware. You don't even have to turn the Netbook on, just plug in the power cord and the battery will charge. Ken
Guest goregrinder
shit - it doesn't work. Do i need a new battery? When i write acpi -V in terminal, i get Battery 1: charging, 10%, charging at zero rate - will never fully charge. Thermal 1: ok, 34.0 degrees C AC Adapter 1: on-line
